Happy Ides of March!

This year the Ides of March bring good news with the launch of Perseus 5.0!

I suppose it was also good news for Brutus.  He released a silver denarius commemorating his assassination of Julius Caesar:

The front of the coin features Brutus himself and the legend BRVT·IMP L·PLAET·CEST (L. Plaetorius Cestianus (magistraat) Brutus Imperator). The reverse depicts a pileus (a freedman’s cap) between two daggers and the words EID·MAR (Ides of March).
